Wool Rug Witney

The premium wool fabric responds naturally to changing conditions - providing gentle warmth on cooler days while remaining light and breathable when temperatures rise. Its moisture‑wicking properties help keep the horse dry even during more intensive work. Naturally occurring lanolin supports hygiene and helps prevent unwanted odours, preserving the rug’s freshness over time.

Remove hair and surface dirt using a soft cloth or brush.
Fasten all hook‑and‑loop closures and straps.
To protect the wool fibres, washing in a laundry bag is recommended.

Washing
Select a wool or delicate cycle at a maximum temperature of 30°C.
Use detergents formulated for wool.
Do not use bleach or fabric softeners.

Drying
Dry flat or hang to dry in a well‑ventilated area, away from direct heat sources.
Do not tumble dry.

Storage
Store in a dry place, preferably laid flat or hung.
Avoid moisture and prolonged compression.
